General Election: Small grants

Posted on: 24 May 2024 Election 2019

JRRT and the UK Democracy Fund are able to accept rapid response applications for grants of up to £10,000 for work specifically targeting the General Election.

Examples of work we could fund:

  • Extensions of your existing campaigns on issues such as Voter ID
  • Rapid scaling up of voter registration and get-out-the-vote campaigns

Examples of work we will not fund:

  • Tactical voting websites, campaigns or apps
  • Individual candidates
  • Work where the capacity is not in place to begin immediately

Email or with a brief outline of your proposal and we will aim to respond within one working day to let you know if we will consider your approach.

In exceptional circumstances, JRRT will entertain requests for more than £10,000. Decision-making will take longer however and that should be factored in to whether or not it is deliverable within the brief timescale of the election.
